Snowmobile Safety Certification Course

PARENTS: Please note, only ONE class offered!

Snowmobile safety training. Certification is required by law for residents born after December 31, 1976.

WHEN ..................Saturday, January 18 2025

WHERE ...............Boomtown Woodfire Bar & Grill (4483 Martin Road-Duluth) (If there is a change in venue, those that are signed up will receive an email with the update)

WHAT TIME .........Registration begins at 7:30 am 

Class begins promptly at 8:30 am 

Field test begins around 12:00 pm

Pickup time: Between 12:20 - 12:45 pm (As soon as you are finished with the paper test, riding test, and receive your certificate)

WHO CAN ATTEND ........... Youth 11-16 years of age. Those over 16 can take the full course online without the additional training.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO? 

Follow these directions carefully:

1.Take the On-line class at https://www.snowmobilecourse.com/usa/minnesota/ (authorized by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources) "Youth Course"

2.Take the test on-line as part of your training at Snowmobilecourse.com taking the quizzes and final test. PRINT the Certificate of Completion. This Certificate MUST be brought to class.

3.When you arrive the day of the class, PARENTS you will need to sign a parental release form. These must be signed to allow your child to take the riding portion of the test.

4.After the class your child will have a temporary certificate with the instructors number and a unique number assigned to your child, you will need to go on-line once again and register with 

the DNR, PRINT the license at that time. SAVE it in a safe place for the future.
